Brendan McHugh

Brendan McHugh is a Partner at Sixth Street, based in New York. He focuses on capital formation and strategy for the firm's insurance relationships.

Prior to joining Sixth Street in 2023, Brendan was a managing director and head of business development for BlackRock’s Americas Financial Institutions Group, an alternative investment product specialist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and a management consultant at Deloitte.

Brendan received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
