P. Emery ("Pem") Covington

Pem Covington was appointed a director of Sixth Street Specialty Lending, Inc. (NYSE: TSLX) in July 2023.

Pem retired as an executive vice president and head of commercial credit risk at Truist Bank, where she also served on the senior credit committee. Previously, she was a managing director at NewStar Financial and spent 24 years at Fleet Boston Financial Group, most recently as executive vice president. She began her career at Chemical Bank. She previously served on the boards of Risk Management Associates and the Women and Infants Foundation.

Pem holds an A.B. in English, cum laude with Honors, from Smith College.

Pem's numerous management positions and broad experiences within financial institutions provide the Board with valuable knowledge and insight in the financial services sector.
