From the beginning, we wanted to be outstanding stewards of our investors' capital. We wanted to be a firm that didn't have any silos, that was deeply collaborative because we thought that would make us better investors.

What's our single biggest differentiator? Single biggest advantage. It's our ability to work in a very seamless way across all parts of Sixth Street.

Our architecture at sixth Street and the way that we go to market is different than most firms. Our energy team, for instance, can be working on everything from a direct lending opportunity all the way through to something that might be higher octane.

Rather than being a hammer looking for a nail, we really approach it with a much more open mind. How can I generate the best risk adjusted returns?

You're asking yourself the question, I wanna do the right thing for my investors. How should we behave as a result of that and how should we navigate the markets?

Sixth Street can go anywhere in the capital structure and think flexibly about what our partners need, provide a holistic solution.

We can go all the way from one end of the spectrum doing performing credit all the way to investing in operating businesses.

Our investors have trusted us with long dated flexible capital. We can be patient and we can test our theory that a theme or an asset class is interesting enough that we can separately capitalize it.

What's exciting about being here is that not only is our industry dynamic, but we are a very entrepreneurial place where we get to take advantage of that.

Most businesses are just not set up the way that Sixth Street is to be able to create that right collaboration amongst the teams to figure out the best risk adjusted return at a point in time.

We try to be good students of our industry. We try to be thoughtful about what we're going to build and where we want to go. Once we have that view, I think we run pretty hard.

We've always focused on where we can invest capital that is not over competitive, and that allows us to have an omnichannel approach to originating credit and originating investments.

Investments always involve multiple stakeholders across our business. That can be geographically, that can be within a sector team, and when we find different investments that cross those different perspectives is generally when we come up with the best investment. You also have to do it on a global basis where you're delivering something different.

It really is a group of collaborative investors who've grown up investing throughout their career who take great pride in achieving excellent investment performance.

Our North Star is how do we deliver the best, just the returns for our investors.

It forces us to think creatively, use our right brain, bringing all these different parts of the firm together to work together.

That is the essence of Sixth Street.
