Sixth Street Recapitalizes German Healthcare Real Estate Portfolio Managed by PATRIZIA
London and Augsburg, July 9, 2026 – Sixth Street, a leading global investment firm, today announced it has partnered with PATRIZIA, an investment manager in global real estate assets, to recapitalize a portfolio of mission-critical post-acute healthcare clinics across Germany. Under the transaction, Sixth Street has provided long-term capital to support the portfolio’s next phase of ownership, while PATRIZIA will continue to manage the portfolio through its closed-end fund.
K2MB Capital, an investment and asset manager for social infrastructure and healthcare real estate, has been appointed by Sixth Street as asset manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day operational and asset management of the portfolio, while PATRIZIA will continue to provide investment management, ensuring continuity through the portfolio’s next phase of ownership.
The transaction underscores Sixth Street’s conviction in the long-term fundamentals of the post-acute healthcare sector. Demand for post-acute healthcare real estate continues to be supported by structural demographic trends, increasing healthcare needs and the essential role these facilities play within Germany’s healthcare system.
