About Us

One Team Working Together
Sixth Street is built for cross-platform collaboration at scale.
Our capital, capabilities, and culture are designed to encourage our team to work together and deliver differentiated solutions for the companies with which we partner and achieve superior outcomes for our investors.
People at Sixth Street are intellectually curious and students of their craft. They ask questions, and seek out the views and knowledge of others to enhance their own thinking.
Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is a competitive advantage, and we know we are better when our people can be themselves and contribute their authentic perspectives as we seek to get to the right answer and ensure that the best ideas win. It's also just more fair, for everyone.

I
Every employee feels included, is comfortable that Sixth Street supports them, and is able to show up to work as themselves in a way that embraces and celebrates our differences.
Authentically embracing this commitment reflects our desire for greater fairness, and creates better outcomes for the investment process and our firm.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee
Our DEI committee is our long-established body that contains representatives across functions, levels, and offices, including senior leadership. Each year, the Committee’s leadership is responsible for determining priorities for the firm related to recruiting, retention, and promoting an inclusive work environment.
Employee Affinity Groups and Networks
Employee Affinity Groups (“EAGs”) and Networks promote community, leadership opportunities, and mentorship across our business. Our EAGs and Networks include senior sponsorship and annually rotating pairs of team leaders. Our groups consistently collaborate on initiatives to harness the power of intersectionality.
Our Recruiting Partnerships
Responsible Investing
We seek to deliver compelling risk-adjusted returns for our institutional clients and their beneficiaries while managing risks and conducting our business with high standards of integrity.
We believe that environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) issues affect the performance of our investments. ESG factors allow us to spot risks, anticipate forward trends, and inform our overall investment decision-making. In short, we believe good ESG is good underwriting.
Responsible investing is part of our investment process as well as our ongoing portfolio management. Our investment teams are trained on ESG issues and we engage external advisors when appropriate. When and wherever possible, we promote sustainable business practices in the companies, platforms, and other opportunities in which we invest.
Sixth Street is a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investing. More information on our approach to ESG integration can be found in our Responsible Investing Policy.
