We recruit talented professionals from schools that might not ordinarily send students to our industry. Our Early Insights Program provides undergraduates the chance to learn more about Sixth Street and alternative investing through a mix of professional development, skills training, and networking opportunities.
Our long-standing committee on inclusion and diversity, comprised of leaders across different functions and levels of the firm, is responsible for setting Sixth Street’s strategic priorities related to our One Team culture, recruiting initiatives, and promoting an inclusive work environment.
Our Employee Affinity Groups (“EAGs”) strengthen the Sixth Street community, create opportunities for shared engagement, and offer leadership and mentoring opportunities. Our EAGs are inclusive, welcoming every team member across Sixth Street.
Responsible Investment Policy
Sixth Street seeks to deliver compelling risk-adjusted returns while conducting our business with high standards of integrity. We believe that environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) factors can affect the performance of our investments. Considering ESG factors allows us to spot risks, anticipate forward trends, and inform our overall investment decision-making. Sixth Street is a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment. More information on our approach to ESG integration can be found in our Responsible Investment Policy.
Sixth Street Gives is our philanthropic and community engagement platform. We focus on promoting opportunity and economic security by providing financial, volunteer, and other resource support to leading non-profit organizations in the regions where Sixth Street operates. We encourage our people to be leaders within their respective community organizations and believe that, in addition to the financial resources of Sixth Street Gives, contributing the time and social capital of our team is essential to making lasting positive impact.
